New hairstyle.?

About two months ago i got my hair cut and the lady gave me side bangs. Well those grew out and i want to get them cut again. Not really cut but really trimmed into shape. I also need a hairstyle that would look good with that. Now i usually wear it in a bun. If it helps i have hair about an inch and a half above my shoulders in the back.. Chin length in the front and bangs that come to about my nose. I also have african american hair texture.

Who's that blind African-American singer?

I don't seem to have very detailed descriptions about him but since there aren't a numerous number of blind musicians. He has long hair, tied back, as I remember seeing him singing in a live concert %26amp; was being helped by someone to get him on stage. It was a good song %26amp; he was really great. So does anyone have a clue who he might be? Thanks in advance

Garnier Frutis, they have different kinds for different things. I'm black, thiland and korean, but my hair isn't like most mixed people so I can tell you it really works...

Nothing realy helps heel split ends. You have to cut them off. And the best shampoo is dove, head and sholders, alt of aveda products will help to.

You need a conditioner that is thick but wont weight your hair down. Try using Sleek by Matrix. It is a really think conditioner that gives alot of moisture but doesn't leave weight on the hair. It is really good to help with frizz also.

Will Curlaway work?

I have this product called Curlaway and it is a relaxer that is supposed to straighten my really curly hair without chemicals and I wanted to know if anyone has it, how long it would take for african-american hair like mine to straighten out fully?

Will Curlaway work?

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

if you are having problems with you curly hair try using products from the sites

www.blended-beauty.com

or

www.curls.biz

these sites have products that can work wonders for your curly hair making it more manageable depending on your hair type and its natural.

Trust me I used to straighten my curly hair with relaxers and my hair was manageable but not the same as having it natural as you have the choice (curly/straight). You might want to try curls milkshake to soften the curls, and to straighten the hair try blended-beauty's straightening glaze and/or pearl and use ceramic straighteners this also helps to keep the hair straight for longer.

Check out the sites before you make up you mind.

Also stay away from grease or mineral oil and petroleum (petro-chemicals) there are other grease alternatives if you use these types of products.

Will Curlaway work?

FYI... Curlaway is not the type of relaxer you are thinking of. It doesn't not chemically alter your hair and is COMPLETELY REVERSIBLE. Report It

Will Curlaway work?

dont do it! go to someone professionally it might cost you some extra money but it wont damage you hiar. thy know how to take care of youre hair!

Will Curlaway work?

Sure!

Will Curlaway work?

If it is a non chemical relaxer you are going to have curly hair after your done using it . That is the same as trying to make someone blond with a glass of milk, not going to happen .

Will Curlaway work?

Why are you asking people who are as clueless as you are? Back in 1994 a product called RIO came out that claimed to be all natural (the spokes person even dipped his hand in it and ate some on the infomercial). People ordered it in droves thinking they could say goodbye to the salon for life. Well, it turned out to be too good to be true. A few months later the lawsuits started popping up when the hair started falling out. I saw one of the models from the infomercial crying hysterically on t.v. as she pulled hands full of hair out of her head with no effort. Her career was ruined because her hair was falling out in clumps. I made a lot of money doing haircuts and giving bi-monthly deep conditioning treatments to RIO victims in 94-95. Leave chemicals to the pros. No such thing a chemical free permanent relaxer

This question is geared toward african-american women, which is healthier sow in or bonded?

i also want to kno, if u get the sow in with human hair can u still style the hair as usual? how long does it usually last, and where is a good place to get it done in chicago?

This question is geared toward african-american women, which is healthier sow in or bonded?

sow in cuz ur real hair grows really fast with a sew in but a bond in will take ur hair out and make it extremely thin trust me i no

This question is geared toward african-american women, which is healthier sow in or bonded?

okay,

the sewn in weave is the healthiest bcause there isnt any glue to break off year hair and there is no heat involved. also the sewn in weave is the saftest and healthiest because the hair is braided and also there is no heat involved unless the weave is being straightened or curled. also all they do is use a needle and the sew the weave into the braids.

Which electric shaver is best for African-American men to use?

I'm tired of using razors, and I don't feel like going to the barber to get a shave. I need a shaver that will help eliminate razor burn and bumps, while getting all the hair off my face. Any suggestions on what brand and model I can buy?

Which electric shaver is best for African-American men to use?

I use a panasonic, I forget what model number it is but it works great for me because it does not cut the hair below the skin. If I use a shaver or razor that gives a very close shave then I will get razor bumps. You have to check if a razor will cut the hair right at the skin level, you will still have a smooth shave but not below the skin and when it grows back it wont curl back into the skin. Forget using manual razors, throw them out and never go back, get an electric razor that does not advertise that it cuts below the surface, and do not buy the ones with the three circular blades.

Does anyone recommend a reasonable hairstylist in Huntsville, AL?

They have to be able to do african-american hair. Preferably natural hairstyles or someone who is experienced in cutting hair.

Does anyone recommend a reasonable hairstylist in Huntsville, AL?

I live in AL, but I live in Birmingham. I really don't know any stylists up there, but I was going to say that if you go to a beauty/cosmetology school, they can recommend some really good stylists (if they're nice). My sis was in cosmetology school and I saw her instructors do it all the time. Good luck!
