How to keep my hair from becoming frizzy in the summer?

I am African American and Dominican, but that leaves me with a "very" difficult combination of hair. My hair is nice when I "just" got it done but by the time I walk hom from the hair salon [3 blocks] I have a HUGE poof-ball instead of straight hair. What can I do to make sure that this stops. [Please keep in mind that I have African Amercan type Hair]

The styling line Big Sexy has a spray on product that seals humidity out. I can't remember exactly what it is called, but you can purchase it at most hair salons. My friend uses it, and loves it. If she didn't use it she would have very big hair.

You should go to a hair stylist and ask them to cut your hair/have it thinned.

I'd try not to fight your hair's nature, and just let it go curly. You'll be happier with the easier routine, and your hair will probably look better.

girl the summer time is for cute curly weaves and braids! Get some cornrows with yaki hair and have them put rimstones on it! or get individuals with human hair or a sew-in weave! the are less maintenance

There's a line called Simply Stylin' (simplystylinhair.com) that is made of pure silicone. It surrounds the hair shaft and prevents humidity from frizzing the hair.

Quite a few women of your ethnicity wear a really short Natural. Why not try that?
