Do many people have hair weaves?

just wondering..i have really bad hair and always wanted one. do you know the prices or where you could get one? i know that a lot of african americans have hair weaves but i am white and my hair is very bad....what do you think?

Yeh definateley! I always hv hair extensions - they can last for ages if you look after them and look really effective/good in your hair. Coz you can't tell the difference,

Also buy the glue for no more than 鎷? and put them in your self - it's really easy to put them in once used to it - was doing it at age of about 13/14. lol.

They look really gd anyway (I use them because always havin hair cut fcoz of hair straightening so gettin split ends lol)

Depends on what you mean by your hair being bad. Anyone can get a weave as there are different kinds. 1 is a full head weave where all your own hair is braided up and then the weave hair is sown to those braids. Another technique is to have rows of your hair braided in lines or tracks and then a few wefts are attached and sown to those few tracks. Yet still another is that of a glue-in; where an adhesive is applied to your own hair and then the weft is glued near you scalp over your own hair, so the two blend.

Depending on where you live you could try to find an african hair braider as they can do weaves or you could try to find an african- american hair stylist.

As for price range, you do get what you pay for. So anywhere from $80 to $200 or more for a professional look is reasonable. Also, at some dominican salons you could pay from $10 to $20 per track if you'd like a few pieces for fullnes or length.

As always the best way to find any type of stylist is to ask someone with a style you like where they got their hair done. Usually, a woman loves nothing better than taking a compliment on her hair, especially if she paid handsomely for it to be done and is often carrying her stylist's card to spread the word about her. So ask them where they got their hair styled, that way you at least know their stylist is worth the trip.
