I'm looking for a product to use for locking and maintaining dreads. I've used various products which were either too greasy, left the hair flaky, or didn't lock the hair in.
Please recommend a product I can use, that is not petroleum based (no beeswax). Also, one that works well on African-American hair that is not too curly.

there is knotty boy brand that works the best... there is something called cooling moisture spray for itchy scalp and dry dread relief... there is also some other bar soap thing that my bro used when he got dreads but i cant figure out what it was cuz it is not in the original packaging... but all in all i would suggest checking out knotty boy brand!!
