Dandruff after Shampoo?

I have dandfuff and sometimes after I wash my hair, before I condition it, i can see that the dandruff has not been removed from my scalp. How can I remove the dandruff from my scalp.? It's been suggested that during the hairwashing process I use a toothbrush on my scalp but what product will help..unstick the dandruff from my scalp? BTW I have a relaxer and African American hair.

Dandruff is just dead skin, so to remove it, a physical action like using a toothbrush is a good idea. You should use Head %26amp; Shoulders shampoo regularly, but not every day. Two or three times a week is quite adequate. Doing it more often dries out both your hair and your scalp skin. Chemicals may also do it.

If you still have dandruff after washing your hair use head %26amp; shoulders.

Hey...

I've had dandruff for quite a while and I've found that for me, at least, none of the shampoos work. I think the one that worked the BEST but not really, was Selsun Blue. I mean, it would go away for a bit, but come back again after a week or so. The only advice I can give you is to wash your hair everyday. That worked for me, and now my dandruff is nearly gone.

I mean, I know that people say washing your hair everyday strips it of moisture and natural oils and all that stuff, but when you have dandruff, I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that'll help.

A herbal rinse is a safe method of removing dandruff. Apply lemon juice with the rind on the scalp .After 5 minutes wash off with shampoo and water. More simple remedies at http://usefulinfo-dandruff.blogspot.com/
