Why do hispanics think everyone else is white who is (not African American)?

I am sicilian/italian and (dark skinned dark eyes jet black curly hair) and so is all my family Dad's side. Yet I have seen some hispanics that look completly white blonde red hair very pale skin blue eyes ect you get the hint yet they are full blooded.

Yet I am considered white by American society. Alot of dark complected (I dont mean tan) Italians feel the same way I do. I do not look white. I am curious thats all.

I am Latino, i lived up north where ive heard that italians are the closest whites to being black since sicily and the boot is madd close to africa if ya don kno. there r alot of dark colored italians out there. Now i live in south florida, haitians jamaicans and africans is black.

all "hispanic" people arent hispanic. people from cuba and pr and them islands r hispanic except for jamaica and haiti ya kno. south americans are latins and mexicans r mexicans to b real. and spainards from spain r spanish. thats sumn people dont kno if ya wana classify us.

As for your question,not all hispanics think that,and you need to remeber that latin america especially Brazil(we hold the most italians and italian descent out of italy,we have 25 million) Argentina(97%white holds alot of italians and german descent)and Mexico have lots of European blood.my grandfather is blonde with blue eyes and curly hair,he is of Spainard,Indigenous and Portuguese descent. So we arent pure blooded as you say,America is nuts,and is the only racially preocupied country!
