is horse shampoo good for african american hair? i have short hair* just above my shoulders* and i want it to be longer

Horse shampoo is probably too harsh for your hair and might strip it of it's natural oils. Your best option is just to wait until your hair grows out - despite many people saying that trimming your hair will make it grow faster, it won't. Hair doesn't know when it's being cut so it won't respond by growing faster.

You want to be careful which one you choose... Cabellina will dry out your scalp and make you flake.... Super Cabello is ok but you don't want to use it regularly....Mane-N-Tail is the best and you can even use the bag balm to grease your scalp....It is usually available at Sally's Beauty Supply.

Mane 'N Tail has great products. I use them all and watch and see the difference. Dont buy the other products with horses on it. Buy Mane 'N Tail only. I buy my products from Rite-Aid, Sav-ons and Beauty Supplies Stores.
