How should I wear my shoulder length hair for an outdoor photo shoot?

This will be my first photo shoot to begin building my modeling portfolio. I am African-American with relaxed hair that stops right at my shoulders. The shoot will be a spring time theme taking place in a garden.

I think it would look really pretty half up with perhaps a fressh bloom tucked behind an ear or pinned in the back, or even a silk floral barrette of some kind being its an outdoor shoot. Something relatively simple if you go with a barrette or clip. Don't overdo it with the hair ornament though , you want the focus to be on you.

short hair or wear ur hair up looks better i think, since it's for spring/summer time. If it's for fall/winter shoot, i think longer hair will look nicer.

Wear it however it shows off your face best.

Go to a good salon and get a consultation first. Then together decide on a plan. You could try a few hairstyles first.

Then when the big day comes you will be sure how it will turn out. Enjoy your shoot!

Where it down with playfull and soft curls. It gives an airy carefree feel that people tend to feel around the spring time. I hope it goes well!

Okay well it depends what you are wearing.

1.If you are wearing a nice spring type dress I think definitely consider doing loose but obvious curls

2.If you are wearing a halter than hair up with sweeping bangs

3.Spaghetti Straps or regular short sleeve or etc. sleek straight with bangs to the side

Sounds like you need more of a soft look for your hair...if adding curls to your hair is a big of reach.....try the steam curlers (Caruso set)...it might give you style options and also try a good short curl quick weave.....I've heard of people getting their pics done...using a couple of those to achieve different looks.... Hairsisters.com should give you a good idea.
